Voter ALERT-Vote Yes on Propositions 39 & 43

Dear friend, If you have any questions regarding my recommendations on how to vote on the Initiatives on the CA ballot this year, feel free to call me. However, there are two Initiatives in particular that are a MUST YES vote.  They are Proposition 39, which will require voter ID for voting.  Vote YES.  This initiative will stop voter fraud in our state, which is something I believe any reasonable person would support. And there is Proposition 43.  This proposition, also referred to as the Taxpayer Protection Act, is sponsored by one of our coalition partners, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, and was written to protect Proposition 13, which a majority in the legislature has made clear they want to eliminate.  Proposition 43 will also restore the two-thirds vote to pass local special taxes.  Vote YES on Proposition 43. Feel free to forward this email to your friends and business associates and urge them to forward as well.Together we can make a difference. Best regards, Mike Stoker President & CEO, SBCTAC
